SHARON WEI has been a certified professional make up artist since 1998., She loves doing up-dos, special occasion styling and makeup.

She worked as freelance artist for only five years before starting WEDDING ISLE. Those five short years were enough to know that her true calling was special occasion styling and makeup.
SHARON WEI has done for celebrity weddings, fashion show, commercials and photo shoots in the past but knew that she wanted to find something more consistent in which she could use her talents. After searching for options, she soon found that there were a very small number of companies that specialized in doing only Bridal hair and makeup. That is when she decided to start Wedding Isle in 2004.

SHARON realized that she had found her true passion. She was quickly booked up and having to turn down weddings. That is when she began to search for stylists that could help her out. SHARON says that she realized that Wedding Isle had begun to build a reputation within the wedding industry for a certain style of hair and makeup. She felt as though it was important to find stylists that could live up to that standard as well as emulate her style of hair and makeup. This led her to the conclusion that in order to do this, she would need to train each and every stylists that came to work for Wedding Isle.
